I have helped individuals, families, corporations, and non-profits address and process difficult issues in an effective, supportive way and look forward to working with you.

Through her work as a pediatric social worker at Mount Sinai Hospital and bereavement group facilitator at A Caring Hand, Carly has counseled individuals, couples, families, school communities, and organizations on how to effectively process grief and challenging transitions. Carly brings her skills and experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to her work as a bereavement specialist and maternal mental health counselor. Carly also offers culturally-sensitive bereavement and maternal mental health workshops and staff debriefings to community-based organizations and for-profit institutions as a means of supporting and unifying staff to deliver the finest services to clients.

Carly completed her social work training at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and has undertaken maternal mental health clinical trainings in the areas of Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), PMAD Screening, and Perinatal Grief and Loss at the Seleni Institute and Postpartum Support International. Carly graduated Barnard College magna cum laude and has assumed a leadership role in the Barnard alumni community as a member of the Professional and Leadership Development Committee. Carly has been invited to speak as an expert on bereavement, maternal mental health, and parenting a medically complex child to a broad range of audiences including community-based organizations, hospitals, and financial services organizations among others. It is Carly’s privilege to partner with you to offer education, guidance, and support during your times of need.
